T. Parker: “We aren’t scared of anyone”

On his own show on French radio RMC, Tony Parker shares his thoughts about the end of the NBA season. The French point guard says the Spurs aren’t scared of anyone and is really impressed by Duncan’s play lately: “We have what it takes to finish first in the West but that’s not the most important thing for us. We need to be healthy for the playoffs. If Oklahoma City is the number 1 seed, it’s not a big deal. We aren’t scared of them. In fact, we aren’t scared of anyone. Whoever finish seventh and eighth isn’t really important. The West is loaded and every playoff game will be difficult. The main thing is to avoid injuries. We haven’t forgotten what happened to us last year. (…) Tim Duncan is playing really well lately. He’s running and dunking like five years ago! If he can play like that during the playoffs, we can be a very dangerous team. However, I think we are nothing more than a contender right now. The favorites are still the same.”
