Dugarry: « Beckham doesn't need PSG »

Former French forward Christophe Dugarry can't wait to see David Beckham play for PSG. The ex-player, now 40, doesn't think the Englishman joined to make money. « It's a great honour to have such a player join the Ligue 1 ! Those who critisize him are nothing but scandalmongers. Here in France, we don't really like those that are handsome, rich, famous and nice. He's a classy guy who won everything. Beckham has won everything possible. I'm not saying he's 100% fit and it certainly will be complicated for him in such a physical league. But, even if we can see him play just a little, it'll be good », explained the former Birmingham man on RMC. « Thinking Beckham is coming to Paris to do business is a joke. Beckham doesn't need PSG to do business. He's already a massive star. »
