Les Gunners ont battu facilement les Blackburn Rovers de Gaël Givet, 4-0.

Andreï Arshavin a inscrit son premier doublé sous les couleurs d’Arsenal. Le joueur Russe a inscrit les deux premiers buts de son équipe avant qu’Emmanuel Eboue ne marque deux autres buts en fin de partie. Les Gunners s’imposent 4-0.
