The Beckham flight has finally landed. After visiting Victoria in New York, David Beckham will have to wait before discovering Paris as the new PSG star made a stop in Valencia, where his new club will face the Spaniards in a tough last-16 Champions' League tie.
Alongside Olivier Létang, the club's assistant sporting director, Beckham sported PSG’s brand new tracksuit when he was greated by his new teammates in the gardens of the Westin Hotel. Paris Saint-Germain director general Jean-Claude Blanc, as well as director of football Leonardo, were also there to welcome the Ligue 1 leaders' latest recruit.
Beckham, who will sport the number 32, then had a long chat with coach Carlo Ancelotti and his staff. Former England captain will not feature as he has yet to train with PSG since joining on a five-month deal on transfer deadline day. He will however be in the stands of the Mestella Stadium to support his new teammates in their Champions' League clash.
